tell me how much you are? and the position ?

We are currently without a permanent drummer. We've been working with Will Scharf from Keelhaul & Craw filling in on drums.
when your band was born ? and where ?
MEATJACK started in 1993. It evolved out of a band that Jason and I had been playing in since 1988. It started here, near Baltimore, MD.
what kind of music you are? hardcore, metal or something like that?
I don't like to put labels on music. We're definitely heavy and dark. People tell us that they hear elements of many different genres of music in what we do. We're influenced by so many things. I don't mind when people say that we're metal or hardcore or whatever, but I think that it's more than that.
tell me about your gigs in your country.
We try to play out and tour as much as possible. Our shows are a very visceral release for the band. We're out there giving every drop of energy that we have. The intensity of the music along with our visual projection show hopefully gives people a really strong experience. We've had the pleasure to tour the U.S. 9 times now, plus we've done countless shows besides that. At this point we're real anxious to do some touring outside of the U.S.
about your song ,is the story about?
Our songs aren't always about something specific, but some of the themes that we deal with are things like the struggles in life, the darker side of humanity, anger, fear, sorrow.
who's the song writer?
The entire band writes the songs. Everybody has their hand in something.
what about the future?
For the future we just plan to keep recording albums and playing shows as much as possible.
